Master's opening ceremony

Last November, the Master in Photonics "Photonics BCN" celebrated the master's Opening Ceremony, the official starting point of the academic year 2025-2026. Students were welcomed by:

- Prof. Eugeni Graugés Pous, Dean of the Physics Faculty (UB)

- Prof. Estela Martín Badosa, UB coordinator of the Master in Photonics, "Photonics BCN"

- Prof. Crina Cojocaru, Director of the Master in Photonics "Photonics BCN" (UPC)

The event was centred around the invited talk "The Blood–Brain Barrier as a Therapeutic Target: A Story Told Through Imaging" given by Dr. Lorena Ruiz Pérez Researcher on the Institut de Bioenginyeria de Catalunya (IBEC) and lecturer at the Applied Physics Department, University of Barcelona.
